Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SittersPlus by KikiCare website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using SittersPlus, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SittersPlus. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and are legally able to enter into these Terms.

2. Platform Role

SittersPlus is a platform that connects families with independent childcare providers. SittersPlus does not employ sitters, does not supervise childcare services, and is not responsible for the actions or conduct of users.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account information up to date.

4. Bookings & Payments

Families may be charged a flat posting or booking fee to submit a job request. Sitters are paid directly by families for childcare services. SittersPlus does not process sitter wages and does not take a percentage of sitter earnings.

5. Sitter Vetting

Sitters may be subject to background checks and vetting processes as part of onboarding. While SittersPlus makes reasonable efforts to vet sitters, we do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of background check results.

6. Cancellations & User Conduct

Users are expected to act professionally and responsibly. Repeated last-minute cancellations, no-shows, unsafe behavior, or violations of platform standards may result in penalties, suspension, or removal from the platform.

7. Disclaimers

SittersPlus provides the Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties regarding availability, reliability, or outcomes of childcare services.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SittersPlus and KikiCare shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for violations of these Terms or conduct that may harm users or the platform.

10. Privacy

Your use of SittersPlus is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
